about me
I am beyond excited to announce my candidacy for VP Students Affairs 2025-2026.
My name is Kalkidan Daniel Berhane. I’m currently in my second year at Huron University, going into a specialization in Finance and Administration. Throughout my time here, I’ve been actively involved in various leadership roles, including serving as VP Finance for the Huron Consulting Club, VP Communications for the WUSC Club, and an Orientation Week Leader (SOPH). Additionally, I’m a founding member of EcoPatriot, a Chapel Assistant, and have worked as a Career Development Research Assistant.
My passion for student affairs stems from my belief in the power of transparency, visibility, empowerment, and elevation. I am committed to making the student experience at Huron more inclusive and supportive, advocating for student needs, and ensuring every voice is heard in key decision-making processes. I aim to bring tangible changes that enhance both personal and academic growth for all students, creating a campus environment where everyone feels empowered to thrive.
I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute further to the Huron community as your next Vice President of Student Affairs!
